WELCOME

To the wonderful world of windsurfing
Please be safe

While windsurfing is a relatively safe activity, as in all sports, there are inherent dangers and windsurfing is done at the participantıs own risk

Common sense and safety awareness can go a long way in reducing the chances of accidents occurring. All participants should be proficient swimmers and should always wear a US Coastguard approved personal floatation device.
Before leaving the beach, participants should always inspect their equipment to ensure it is in good condition. It is important to have knowledge of local conditions, including weather, tides, water current, water temperature, natural and man-made obstacles, etc.
Finally, windsurfing should never be done alone and you should never sail in an offshore breeze.
