Look and make sure the way is clear
Move your hands back on the boom. Straighten the front arm so that the mast goes forward and to windward
Take a step forward so you can shift all your weight to the front of the board
As the board continues to turn allow your back foot to pivot until it points toward to bow. Rig is now across the board between you and the bow
When you see the front of the board through the sail and the back foot has pivoted so the toes are facing the front of the board itıs time to step back with your front foot and place it alongside the back foot
Bend your elbows so you can ensure the rig is perpendicular to the board and balanced and youıre sailing on a run downwind
