1. Swing the sail towards the back of the board and the nose of the board goes up into the wind
2. Bring the rig back directly in front of you and you are back in the start position
3. If you want to turn the board down wind you swing the rig towards the front of the board. When you do this it turns downwind
4. Bring the rig back in front of you again and you are back in the start position
