1/5/2003  Calema Midwinters Joins USW Tour

Tihno and Susie Dornellas have announced that the Calema Midwinters is now an official event of the 2003 USW NRT. The Calema Midwinters, now in their 18th edition, is one of longest running windsurfing events in the US. In 2002, this popular event drew over 200 participants from all over the World. This year hundreds of racers are signing up for what promises to be the best ever. New for 2003 is an expanded competition program with 3 days of racing for the A-fleet and special formula clinic with The Team members Phil McGain and Matt Pritchard

1/4/2003  USW NRT has now to 20 confirmed events
The 2003 USW NRT is now officially as huge! 20 events all over the US and Canada have officially signed up as Ranking Events for 2003. More are expected to confirm in the next few days so keep checking this space. This unprecedented success points to an exciting revival of windsurf racing in North America.
12/26/2002  BIC Techno Formula is the new NRT Class
Todd Greaux, BIC Sports Sales manager from Adventure Sports, announced full support for the BIC Techno Formula. This FW approved board is an easy on the pocket book and easy to ride high performance  freeride board. The Techno Formula Class offers an affordable alternative for those that want to participate in FW racing but don't want to submit to the high cost of the latest in FW race gear.
 
USW sponsor BIC Sport Windsurfing informed that Techno Formula boards will be available for inexpensive charters at most events. The gear rules for this class are being worked out at this time and were not available at press time. Check back for the latest in this class.
